Renew: How to Prevent Burnout and Thrive

An online workshop series with Alexis Zahner & Sally Clarke of Human Leaders.

Over 4 sessions, this online workshop series will position you to understand and take steps towards living more authentically and preventing burnout. Through the lens of the science-backed ‘3-Selfs’ framework, this interactive series empowers you with the information and skills you need to protect your wellbeing and thrive.

Renew: How to Prevent Burnout and Thrive

Renew will help you…

  • Understand how to manage stress and avoid burnout

  • Learn to identify symptoms of burnout in yourself and others

  • Discover the difference between healthy stress and chronic stress

  • Improve how you set and keep boundaries

  • Understand the 3-Selfs framework and improve your Self-Compassion, Self-Knowledge and Self-Awareness 

  • Build healthy habits to support your ongoing wellbeing

By working on the 3 Selfs in this interactive, immersive series, you also improve your decision making, focus and self-confidence. And you’ll gain skills to help you support others who are experiencing stress and burnout.

Workshop series includes

  • 4 x 2 hour online learning sessions 6-8pm AEST on Thursdays in June 

  • Pre-work, homework and all materials 

  • Access to an online community hub exclusive to participants

    My experience spans local government, marketing, media consultancy right through to Management at global brand Patagonia, working and living in multiple countries around the world.

    Through my privilege of travelling to over 40 countries around the world, my professional experiences and hobbies I’ve learnt my core values are adventure, continuous learning, collaboration, truth seeking, being of service and gratitude. I’m a keen surfer and snowboarder who spends most of my spare time outdoors, connecting to nature and human beings.

    After going through a debilitating burnout as a corporate finance lawyer, I realized I need to profoundly change my life to find authenticity and alignment. For over a decade I ran successful copywriting and translation businesses and led yoga, meditation and personal growth retreats around the world, living on 4 continents.

    Today, as a Human Leader and a burnout researcher, my mission is to embed wellbeing at work so burnout becomes a redundant term.

    My personal values are authenticity, growth, connection, joy and adventure. Australian-born, I live in Amsterdam, speak 8 languages and travel extensively. I get my energy from being in nature, conversations that stretch my brain and sharing a laugh and a Barossa shiraz with friends.

  • The investment is a one-time payment of AUD$850. This includes 4 x 2 hour live group workshop sessions, workshop resources and access to our Human Leaders learning community.

  • No, sessions will not be recorded.

    Renew is a deeply interactive and immersive workshop series designed to help you learn and integrate new practices. For this to be truly impactful you need to attend live.

    Further, live sessions will not be recorded to protect the for privacy of our participants and the opportunity to share in a safe space. Please ensure you can attend the live sessions before registering. There won’t be replays or alternative sessions offered. No refunds will be given if you are not able to attend any of the live sessions.

  • No. This course requires no prior experience or knowledge from any field of study. We ask that you bring a curious, open mind.

  • About 4 hours per week.

    You are expected to attend each of the four, 2-hour live sessions each Thursday in June. There will also be pre-work and between-session reflection work of around 1-2 hours.

  • No. The course includes exercises and reflection work. To gain maximum benefit from the course, we recommend doing all of these exercises and attending all live sessions.
