Cultivating The Attitudes Of Mindfulness Into Everyday Life by Alexis Zahner [Audio Course]

"Mindfulness helps us to show up authentically.”

During this nine-day audio course, I’ll be introducing you to the nine attitudes of mindfulness, originally pioneered by Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn. We’ll explore what these attitudes mean in a contemporary world, and I’ll guide you through a mindfulness practice to integrate these into everyday life.

For 15 minutes a day, each day of the course will include:

  • A brief talk, deep diving into the philosophy of the mindfulness attitude

  • A guided practice giving you the opportunity to integrate the attitude

  • A reflection exercise

Mindfulness has nine core attitudes according to contemporary research. These attitudes are more like lenses through which we can choose to see the move through the world. Over the next nine days, we’ll explore one of these attitudes every day.

The nine core attitudes of mindfulness we’ll explore together are:

  • Non-judgement

  • Acceptance

  • Trust

  • Patience

  • Letting-go

  • Non-striving

  • Beginner's mind

  • Gratitude

  • Generosity

Each day I will invite you to sit with the philosophy of each attitude, I’ll offer my guidance on what the attitudes means to me and in my practice, then I’ll guide you through a mindfulness practice so you have the opportunity cultivate the attitude into your own life, experiencing it for yourself.

At the end of the nine days you’ll have a profoundly deeper connection to the core attitudes of mindfulness and will have experienced the power of cultivating these for yourself. I invite you to continue your practice and revisit these attitudes and their associated practices when you need them most in your own life.
